Youth Ministry

Life is filled with wonder. Who am I? Where do I belong? Why am I here? The way a person responds to these particular questions shapes their choices, relationships, and values. The difficulty is that many voices compete with one another when these questions are asked.

At The Creek, we believe that before we answer these questions, we must determine Who is God? What is the church about? What did Jesus come to do? As we answer these, we discover the first three questions are answered, too. We understand who we are in light of who God is. We find a place to belong in the life and actions of the church. We understand our purpose through the life of Jesus.

The Creek Youth Ministry is designed to help you discover how faith meets life, by continually wrestling with these quesitons. Unfortunately, Christianity is often boiled down to a belief system to agree with, rather than a life to be lived. The Creek will be a place where teenagers encounter the truth of scripture, but more than that, it will be a place where they are encouraged to live out their faith in an unashamed manner.

The Creek Youth Ministry is for Middle School (grades 6-8) and High School (grades 9-12) students.

Join us every week as we engage in a variety of experiential activities designed to help you be transformed into Christ's image. Each Wednesday, we rotate a focus of formation, community, celebration and recreation. Every night is a unique and fresh approach to spirituality.

Connecting with The Creek
We've made connecting with The Creek easy. All you need to do is simply show up to the FLC/Hangar on Wednesdays before 6:30pm. Once you arrive, our adult leaders will connect you with a small group, which will welcome you and be with you for the rest of the gathering.

Are you hungry?
Every day, as many as 11,000 kids die from hunger and hunger-related causes. Around the world, 925 million people are hungry. No child should die from an empty stomach! That’s where we come in.

On February 24-25, BCN youth are fasting for 30 hours in an effort to raise money to feed hungry kids across the globe.  Our goal is $10,000.
