Senior Adult Pastor

Sharon Fulcher is no stranger to the Beavercreek area - moving here twice in 20 years. In April 1987, Sharon and her family moved to Beavercreek at which time Sharon served on staff at Beavercreek Christian Learning Center (BCLC). In August 1999, she and her family moved back to the area where she resumed her service at BCLC before accepting a position with BCN. At that time, BCN's youth program was experiencing tremendous growth. Sharon agreed that the overall youth ministry should be divided into high school and middle school in order to better meet the needs of every age group. Sharon served as full-time Middle School Pastor for 5 years and eventually undertook the Senior Adult ministry as well.

After 4 years of working with the young and young at heart, Sharon resigned her position as Middle School Pastor to focus solely on the needs of the growing senior adults population at BCN.

Sharon's passion, no matter what age she works with, is always the same - to provide people with a sense of belonging. "I want to see the lost won," says Sharon. "I want to ensure that we, as a church, are constantly making personal contact to meet the needs of our senior adults." Sharon is committed to providing a variety of onsite and offsite events, activities, and retreats. She also makes personal hospital and shut-in visits.

Sharon and her husband, Kelly, have two children: Scott, who is married to Deanna and lives in San Diego, CA, and Carissa, who is married to Nathan and lives in Kansas City. Sharon is also the proud "mama" of her dogs, Teddy and Lizzy.
