Associate Pastor
As BCN grew - numerically and spiritually - the pastoral staff sought God's direction on expanding BCN's ministries. God's answer? Launch a new style of worship service. Jason eagerly accepted the new position of Associate Pastor in which his primary responsibility was to serve as the teaching pastor in a new, contemporary service. EPIC was launched in October 2005 under the skilled, dynamic, and focused attention of Jason and his team. Jason is passionate about teaching, reading, studying, learning, and being challenged in his daily walk with God. His vision for EPIC is to enable people of all ages and stages in life - the unchurched as well as those who are simply burned out on stale religion - to gain a fresh perspective of what it means to be a follower of Christ. His desire is to reveal a more eternal mission for daily living. Jason is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene (July 2006) and is currently pursing his Masters of Arts and Theology at Asbury Theological Seminary. Jason grew up in the Dayton area and met his wife, Jenelle, at their home church, Vandalia Nazarene. They have been married 6 years and have one son, Zachary. He enjoys hunting, golf, and softball.
